About the campsite

Common questions about our campsite

We have a unisex shower and toilet block with a plentiful supply of hot water and also a separate family shower room with toilet which is ideal for families with young children. We have undercover washing facilities consisting of 2 x sink and draining board stations. 

Our hot water and showers are included in your booking, however we do ask you to be environmentally conscious and use water responsibly. 

In the consideration of every guest's enjoyment we have a strict no noise policy between the hours of 10pm and 9am.  

BBQ's are allowed, but they must be raised off the ground so not to cause damage to the grass. 

Fires are only allowed in a fire pit, which must be clearly raised off the ground. We do ask that you do not take wood from the surrounding area (Firewood can be purchase through our campsite managers and in the Pub) and that you dispose of any debris responsibly. 

We sell kindling and firewood which you can purchase through our campsite managers through the pub. We also have firepits for hire. 

Your pitch is accessible from 3pm on the day of your arrival. 

We ask that you vacate your pitch by 11am on the day of your departure.

During quieter times this may be possible, but please ask a member of our team before leaving as we may need you to park in another location on site. 

About the pitches

Some common questions about camping at our campsite

Pitches numbers 1-10 have electrical hook up.

Unfortunately we do not accept caravans or large motor homes.  We are happy to accept small campervans no larger than 5.3 metres length and 2 metres wide (roughly a VW size) on our site. 

Our pitches are designed to accommodate one tent (up to a 4/5 person size tent) and one vehicle, please note that your tent AND vehicle have to fit within the pitch perimeter of 9m x12m.  

We normally try to limit the number of guests and cars on site, so if your family/group are travelling in more than one vehicle to the site you will need to book a pitch per vehicle regardless of the number of tents.

You can book a camping pitch up to 72 hours prior to your reservation through our online booking system. 

The only way to make a booking is through our online booking system. 

We have a two night minimum stay at the weekend and a 3 night minimum stay on bank holiday weekends.

We do not offer refunds, and we do not offer date transfers for any bookings less that 28 days prior to arrival

Group bookings

We are a family friendly campsite, unfortunately we do not accept bookings of more than four pitches.

Some of the most commonly asked questions about our campsite and cafe

We do allow dogs (both on the campsite and in the cafe), we do ask that dogs are kept on a lead at all times and are never left unattended.
